Corporate governance at TNL is conducted by a Board of Directors comprising seasoned Managers and Business leaders, led by business mogul, Chief (Dr.) Michael Ade.Ojo as Chairman.

CHIEF (DR.) MICHAEL ADE. OJO OON

Chief (Dr.) Ade. Ojo is the Chairman of Toyota (Nigeria) Limited. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Business Admnistration (D.BA) from the same institution in 1999.

His work experience spans over 30 years, holding appointments with CFAO, the Federal Civil Service and BP (Nig) Ltd. He is Chairman of various companies, Custodian & Allied Insurance Co. Ltd., Moorhouse Company Ltd., Imperial Telecommunications Ltd. and Braun Limited. He also serves on the Board of a number of other companies including First City Monument Bank Group. He holds a string of awards from various social and business clubs, which he joined over the years. He was conferred with the chieftaincy title of AARE ATAYESE of Ilara-Mokin in recognition of the various developmental projects, which he championed in his hometown.

In addition, he added another feather to his crown when he bagged another chieftaincy title of the ASIWAJU of Imesi-Ile, Osun state in recognition of his numerous philantrophic gestures towards the development of the town.

In 2005, he was honoured by the Federal Government of Nigeria with the award of Order Of the Niger (OON) in recognition of his invaluable contribution to the growth of the economy and the auto industry in particular. The Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, in 2010, conferred him with the title of Baaloro of the Source. He has subsequently been conferred with many awards from the automobile industry, including the Auto Legend award conferred on him by the Nigeria Auto Media Awards (NAMA).
