TOYOTA OFFICE COMPLEX IN LEKKI OPENS IN GRAND STYLE
Thursday 17th September,
2009 will remain memorable in the annals of Toyota (Nigeria) Limited as the company
formally inaugurated its new ultra modern office complex in Lekki.
The event which held in the premises
of the new Office Complex had in attendance representatives of the Lagos State Governor, His Excellency Babatunde
Raji Fashola SAN, Anambra State Governor Mr. Peter Obi,
Osun State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Ogun State Governor Otunba Gbenga
Daniel and the Minister of Transport Alhaji Ibrahim Isa Bio.
Also in attendance were Mr. Hisayuki
Inuoe the Managing Officer Toyota Motor Corporation
(TMC) Japan, the Managing Officer Sumitomo Corporation, Mr. Kiyomi Machida,
President and CEO of Toyota South Africa Motors (Pty) Limited, Mr. Johan Van Zyl
as well as top echelons of the Nigerian corporate world ranging from banking, Oil
and Gas to Telecommunications and other sub sectors of the Nigerian economy graced
the occasion.
In his welcome address,
the Chairman Toyota (Nigeria)
Limited Chief M. Ade. Ojo OON described the completion
of the masterpiece as a dream come true; a vision which evolved from the desire
‘’to achieve a world class facility that will serve as a model for a one-stop shop
generally referred to by Toyota as 3S model i.e. Sales, Service and Spare Parts’’
He praised Toyota Motor Corporation
(TMC) Japan for the confidence they repose in the company and the company’s co-shareholders,
Sumitomo Corporation of Japan for their immense contribution towards realization
of the dream and accredited dealers as well as loyal customers of Toyota Nigeria
Limited for sustaining their enviable brand equity for the brand against all odds.
He reaffirmed the company’s determination to break into the forefront of global
reckoning while upholding the shinning ideals of customer satisfaction.
The facility according to the Chairman
consists of three different sections namely the main administrative block which
houses the core administrative activities of the company including executive office
and a vehicle showroom, the Training School and Parts Warehouse. The Training School
in particular consists of a first class DOJO (training area) workshop that conforms
to Toyota global standard while the spare parts ware house consists of a huge multimillion
naira parts store and support offices designated to cater for the increasing demand
of customers for Toyota genuine spare parts.

Limited Mr. C. K. Thampy later led the guests on a facility tour of the entire ultra
modern Office Complex.
